Man in Critical Condition After Stubbing in Bristol

has An incidence of stabbing was reported on Easton Road, Bristol yesterday (30 August 2020).

According to an Avon and Somerset police officer, the man was attacked at around 04.30 BST following a disorder that involved several people. The police went on to say that the man suffered multiple stab injuries and was in critical condition in the hospital.

The incident happened near Esso petrol station and a cordon was set up in order for the police to carry out enquiries at the scene. Part of the Easton Road was closed at 10.50 am yesterday, including the Esso petrol station. The police have also cordoned the flats opposite the petrol station.

One cordon was set up off the road about 10 meters either side of the garage. The other cordon was set up behind the flats that are found on Easton Road.

Additional patrols were also sent to the scene as part of the investigation. Two police cars and five police officers were seen at the scene carrying on investigations. Additionally, the police have tapped off the grass verge, the foot grass as well as a small section of the car park on Shaw Close.

The force spokesman has said that additional patrols will be done in the local area by neighborhood officers. For this reason, he encouraged residents to voice their worries and concerns to these officers.

The spokesperson also asked anyone who saw or heard any part of this sad ordeal to reach out to them. In addition, he appealed to any witnesses to reach out to the police. The police department is appealing for information of those who may be involved in the accident.

The stabbed man remains in hospital even as the police seek to solve this stabbing incidence.

The Easton road and part of Shaw Close remains closed as investigation continues in the area.
