Leeds Target former Bristol City star as their next target

With Leeds United traveling to take on Bristol City this Saturday, there have been new speculations in the air for the upcoming transfer season. The Whites are currently placed 2nd on the league table, and a win could take them back to the top of the Sky Bet Championship.

The Leeds have set themselves up in a favourable position to win with the last 4 matches unbeaten while Bristol City is struggling at the 8th spot in the table. Nevertheless, the Robins home game has been sold out and is expected to be one cracker of a match.

The talented playmaker – Luke Freeman

Leeds United are targeting current QPR and former Bristol City star Luke Freeman in the Summer Transfer window.

Luke Freeman has been an influential midfielder and a clever playmaker for both the clubs he has played for. The former Arsenal teenager Luke made 121 appearances for Bristol City before contract talks broke down and he moved to QPR in 2017.

However, even QPR has not been able to afford Freeman’s high value and would be more than happy to part ways with him, given the right transfer value.

Lee Johnson first bought the teenage prodigy at Ashton Gate when he says the young player’s capacity at Stevenage. Having signed a 5-year contract, Freeman soon became a regular for the Robins at Ashton Gate.

Even his current manager described him as a magician with a wand of left foot, who could easily play on 3 or 4 positions in a game. In only limited appearances for QPR, Luke managed to score seven goals and create 4 assists in the run.

Besides these transfer rumours, Leeds United vs. Bristol City FC is expected to be an exciting one with both sides looking to salvage something from the final rounds of the season.
