New Bin Collection and Recycling Schedule in Exeter


A happy year ended with a blast, and so we are going straight forward to another year. There is a new life to settle as the average days would gradually come to bustle. There will be a lot of things to be cleaned out, especially the trash that accumulated throughout the holidays. Specifically, it would be your Christmas decorations and other kinds of stuff.

Devon’s Council sticks on its Green and Recycle rubbish collection policy. The collection of Christmas Trees are prioritized for the first few days that will be collected on the specific sites. The collection of other rubbish, such as the bins, boxes, and bags, will be rescheduled further. The councils in Devon announce their reliability on this matter and thus handed the new schedules for the adjusted dates of trash collection.

According to Exeter Council, the schedules are listed. The format covers the original date of collection to the rescheduled collection time (i.e., December 30, 2019, Monday (usual period) to December 31, 2019, Tuesday (rescheduled date)).

Regular collection will be back to normal on January 13, 2020.

Collection for garden trash will resume on January 27, 2020, Monday.

Take in mind that all your wastes must be placed on the designated collection sites. It should be taken out between at 6 in the afternoon until 6 in the morning. Bins that were not properly taken off will not be collected and make sure that it is properly tucked in between the time of collection.

Note: The collection of brown bins will be held during the green-bin week.
