An 11-year-old boy making his way to school was reported to be involved in a hit and run accident in Enys Road, Camborne which resulted in sustained minor injuries.

The investigation revealed that the incident occurred at approximately 7:50 AM. The paramedics and police were alerted to the collision at 8:20 AM 14 October 2019.

Police are now taking measures to locate the vehicle involved which fled the scene.

“Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to contact police via [email protected] or by phone on 101, quoting log number 155 of today”, the Devon and Cornwall police issued in a statement. The police strongly encouraged witnesses to provide information on the incident.

Two-Vehicle Collision Renders A380 Impassable, One Person Injured

A car involved in a two-vehicle collision crashed and overturned on the intersection of Chudleigh and the A380. Therefore, the accident rendered the road impassable this morning.

The police reported one person injured in the collision on the Lower Upcott Lane at Chudleigh. The incident was reported to the police at 9:00 AM who subsequently arrived at the scene with one of the cars on its side. The victim, who sustained minor injuries, is currently awaiting recovery.

Crash at Winnards Perch and Wadebridge Kills Person, Witnesses Asked to Come Forward

The Devon & Cornwall police reported a casualty on another incident where another car overturned on the side of the road near Winnards Perch and Wadebridge. Consequently, this prompted authorities to close the A39 in both directions. The male driver was found and pronounced dead on the scene as of 9:00 AM on 14 October.

The police encouraged witnesses to come forward as the investigation has begun on the collision and its probable causes.
