In the last 24 hours, a total of 563 persons who were confirmed COVID-19 positive have passed away, bringing a record of 71,189 hospital deaths in the entire country of the United Kingdom.
Most patients were aged between 24 and 99 years old. Some patients were revealed to have a history or known underlying medical health conditions that have greatly contributed to their various health complications and deterioration of their health which have eventually caused their death. The families of these patients have been notified.

As of this Sunday, 31st of January,2021, an overall total of 8,977,329 individuals were immunised with the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine while a total of 491,053 persons have completed their 2nd dose of immunisation of the said vaccine.
