With the continued success of her clothing and makeup line, Rihanna has reached another feat by collaborating with LVMH to unveil a new fashion brand that will be offering extra luxurious garments albeit the steep price point.
The new brand called Fenty, which will be based in Paris, is going to be introduced this spring with the hopes to cater to Fenty lovers, style aficionados, and the like. Rihanna also mentioned that she could not think of any other brand to collaborate with than LVMH, whom she thinks has the same vision as hers when it comes to ideas and creating designs for a luxury line.
The line is aiming to develop unique pieces in comparison with Rihanna’s fun and stylish outfits as well as accessories, shoes, and other ready-to-wear items that will suit the taste of the masses.
The first launch will focus on neutral colors and silhouettes, particularly accessories such as sunglasses with quirky frames and sandals with distinctive designs.
As of the moment, it will only be sold on her Fenty site, but soon it will be available on her upcoming popup stores that will be announced soon. Being the first woman and woman of color to launch a line with LVMH, Rihanna is elated to have a once in a lifetime opportunity to partner with a company that does not put her limits on what she wants to do when it comes to designing her products.
Still, she remains humble. She posted on Instagram about how thankful she is of LVMH for believing in her capabilities to launch a new line with them, despite her having no background with fashion designing. The CEO of LVMH, Bernard Arnault, believes that she is not just another singer but also a talented entrepreneur who has ideas that will definitely lead to success.
