England’s most promising prop has signed a new deal with Exeter Chiefs. The prop signed a new long-term deal with the league leaders last week.

Williams joined the 2017 Gallagher Premiership champions in 2015 and has since played about 100 games. The 28-year old has scored over 10 tries over the last 5 years.

Williams was playing for the Jersey Reds before he joined the Chiefs. In 2017, he helped the Chiefs win the league title after a successful thrilling campaign. However, the team was not able to retain the title in 2018.

According to the information posted on the club’s website, Williams said that the deal was very easy to make. He added that he had already made his decision, and it was just a matter of putting the ink on paper.

Williams went ahead to say that he has been at Sandy Park for five years and has loved every moment of the game. He added that the five-year stay has been full of fun and enjoyment.

Williams recalled the moment he left Jersey as he knew he was going to an ambitious club that would make him great. He added that he knew the Chiefs would challenge him to be better.

Williams has so far won 18 caps for his country, and he feels that there is more to be done for both England and Exeter.

Although the details of the new deal were not made public, the club announced that the deal will last until 2025. The club was optimistic that with the new deal, Williams will settle and concentrate on the club’s activities starting next week.

The club showered praise to the valuable player and termed him as a professional player who is cooperative and keen to instructions. The chiefs congratulated him and wished him all the best in his career.
