Plymouth-based CMOStores.com has received a hat-trick after being shortlisted in all three categories by the prestigious UK eCommerce awards which will be held on March 25 this year.
The UK eCommerce awards (eCommerce Conference & Awards) is a prestigious event held every year to award exceptional platforms, websites, and suppliers across various categories. The event that’s set on March 25, 2020 will feature hundreds of entries awards coming from a massive number of online businesses throughout the country.
Currently, CMOStores.com owns six eCommerce platforms, and they’re just one of the two companies that have been shortlisted for the eCommerce In-house Team of the Year category. The reason for this is due to the company’s innovative work which was conducted by its technical team of 11 people.
Aside from that, Katie Knapman, the company’s 23-year-old SEO manager, was also shortlisted for the eCommerce Rising Star Award. Meanwhile, their Door Superstore platform was shortlisted in the category DIY, Home, Furniture & Interior Design eCommerce Website of the Year.
As one of the most prestigious awarding events in the online retail industry, the eCommerce Awards normally include platforms, websites, and suppliers from in-house agencies that have displayed exceptional performance throughout the year.
The event this year will be held at the Montcalm Marble Arch in London this coming March 25.
According to CMOStores’ marketing director, Ben Hodson, this has been one of the major recognitions they’ve received for all their efforts. He stated that they pride themselves in “breaking the mould” and by introducing the latest building technology to the sector.
He added that their team was also shortlisted in the Federation of Small Businesses Awards just last week, and it’s something they’re so proud of, especially since their efforts and innovation are recognised by major bodies.
The company is based in Burrington Way and has more than 100 people to date.
